Is this the right digital marketing program for me?
iHubbers are youth aged 20-30 who are humble, hungry and smart, with a solutions oriented mindset. We seek individuals who are eager to grow holistically and gain digital marketing skills to participate in a global economy. Our values are curiosity, compassion, innovation, communication, diversity, integrity, excellence and personal responsibility. If this resonates with you, this may just be the program for you!
How long is the iHub Africa digital marketing program?
In total, the program runs for 10 months from February culminating in the end of November with a few short breaks in between. Excellent attendance is required to move between phases throughout the year.
What qualifications will I graduate the program with?
The program teaches a range of digital marketing skills accredited by internationally recognised institutions. You will acquire various badges and certificates as you progress through the training which are recognised within the digital marketing arena. These include Google Digital Skills, Hubspot, Facebook Blueprint, and more.
What are the program days and times?
Students are required to attend the program onsite from Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm. Starting at the end of January, and running until the end of November. This schedule ensures you get the most practical training experience.
What will I need to complete the digital marketing program?
We provide all the resources and equipment onsite for your training. To thrive in this challenging program, having a strong support network of friends, family, and peers will be invaluable.
I am not based in the province where the program runs, but I have family I can stay with for the length of the program. Can I still apply?
Yes, you can apply if you can relocate and maintain attendance from Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm, for the program’s duration. First, a supportive environment is established. It becomes especially beneficial when the program gets challenging.
Can I work or study while doing the program?
You will be required to attend the program in person, Monday-Friday, 9am to 4pm over the 10 months. If your business activities are outside these hours and will not affect your ability to be completely engaged and present, you are able to apply.
Where will the program take place?

When will I know if I have been accepted for the program?
You will know if you’ve made it into the program before the end of November.
I don’t have Matric. Can I still apply?
Yes, you can! While we prefer applicants who have completed Matric, we consider candidates who haven’t graduated high school, depending on their overall fit for the program. Your grit and tenacity are what matter most.
I have a degree or diploma. Can I still apply?
Yes, you can. If you are not currently working or studying and are available to attend the program full-time, we encourage you to apply. Furthering your education and refining your soft skills with our digital marketing program can enhance your career prospects.
What high school subjects do I need?
No specific high school subjects are required to apply for our digital marketing program. We welcome all educational backgrounds.
What are the requirements for completing the program?
We require excellent attendance, a program average of 70% or above and compliance with the iHub conduct policy.
What about nationality?
While we focus on South African youth, we’re open to non-South Africans that are eligible to work in the country.
How old do I need to be?
iHub is open to young people aged 20-30 who are not currently enrolled in training, education or employment ventures.
What is a Masterclass?
A Masterclass is an interactive Ted-talk style presentation that provides students with the opportunity to learn from exceptional professionals doing incredible work in their fields. The goal is for professionals to share their experience and wisdom on how they leveraged various soft skills to get to where they are now.
What jobs can I pursue after completing the iHub Africa program?
iHub Africa graduates are equipped to pursue various entry-level positions, such as Digital Marketing Manager, Social Media Manager, SEO Specialist, Website Developer, Copywriter, Email Marketer, and Content Marketer. Your new skills will open doors to new exciting opportunities!
How much does the program cost?
We provide this program for free, all we ask of you is full commitment and the right attitude.
Is there a stipend available?
While we do not offer a stipend, the program is free and provides valuable digital marketing skills along with incredible personal developmental training. We do also provide up to 80% subsidy on travel expenses, on a case-by-case basis.
How long is a Masterclass session?

Is the program the same each year?
We value and are committed to innovation and excellence so we continuously work to refine and develop the program. Moreover, given the dynamic nature of Digital Marketing, the training content is continuously updated to stay up to date with the industry.
Can I complete the course or study remotely?
The course requires all students to be attending classes in-person for each day of the week and is part of the acceptance criteria.
Can I Choose Any Topic or Am I Given a Topic to Speak On?
We are open to suggestions depending on your topic such as “What I wish I knew in my 1st job”, “A day in the life of a …” or even “My personal tool kit for success”.
While we provide a list of suggested topics aligned with our curriculum, speakers have the flexibility to propose their own topics based on their expertise and interests. This ensures that each masterclass is unique and highly valuable for students.
Which Time of the Year Are the Masterclasses?
Masterclasses are scheduled between August and October. Specific dates and times are communicated well in advance to allow for proper planning.
