Frequently Asked Questions
Answering all the questions you didn’t even know you had
Can I apply without Matric?
A matric certificate is required to apply. If you don't have yours yet, we'd recommend completing it first and then applying once you have it. In the meantime, keep an eye on our page for future intakes so you don't miss the next opportunity.
How long is the iHub Africa program?
The program runs for 6 months, giving you hands-on training in web development and Meta skills, along with mentorship and real project experience to set you up for the industry.
What qualifications will I graduate the program with?
You'll walk away with practical Meta skills, plus an accredited Zaio web development certification to show for the coding side of the program.
Can I work or study while doing the program?
You'll need to attend the program in person, Monday-Friday, 9am to 4pm, over the 6 months. If you're working or studying, you can still apply — as long as it doesn't clash with these hours and won't affect your ability to be fully present and engaged throughout the program.
Where will the program take place?
Training happens daily, Monday to Friday, at The Media Mill in Milpark, Johannesburg. It's an easy-to-reach, well-equipped space designed for hands-on, in-person learning throughout the 6 months. Click here to view the location.
When will I know if I have been accepted for the program?
You'll find out whether you've been accepted into the program before the end of November. We'll reach out directly with the outcome, so make sure your contact details on your application are correct and up to date.
