The iHub 2026 applications are open and here’s a quick overview of the opportunity and how to apply.

At iHub Africa, we believe potential is everywhere, even if opportunity isn’t. That’s why our training program is 100% free. We’re not just looking for perfect grades or stacked CVs. We’re looking for grit, curiosity, creativity, and a serious hunger to grow.

If you’re a young person with a spark and a dream, whether you’re from a township, a rural area, or an under-resourced school, this is for you. Whether you’re job-seeking, career-pivoting, or side-hustling, iHub is your launchpad into the digital economy.

What’s the iHub Program About?

The iHub program is a 10-month, full-time learning experience focused on two tracks:

Digital Marketing + Web Development

We don’t just teach skills; we develop digital thinkers, future leaders, and world-class collaborators. You’ll walk away with industry certifications, hands-on project experience, soft skills training, and the kind of support system that changes lives.

Who Should Apply for the iHub Africa program?

  • Young people aged 20-30.
  • Based in Gauteng (for now!)
  • Passionate about digital work (even if you’re new to it)
  • Available full-time for 10 months
  • Committed to building a future in tech, marketing, or entrepreneurship

How to Apply: A Step-by-Step Guide

The application process is aimed at helping us select the best candidates for the opportunity. Best means those who are most likely to grow through the opportunity and successfully complete it, which does not necessarily mean the most intelligent or gifted applicants. We look for so much more.

The application process

Part 1: Geting to know you

This section helps us understand who you are, what you’re passionate about, and where you want to grow.

What is it about? You’ll share basic info about you and answer a few short answer questions about your goals, motivations & mindset. These are completed on the relevant Google Forms.

Part 2: Show You’re Serious

This is where you complete two online certificate courses. They’re short and free. This step shows us you’re committed and ready to learn while introducing you to some concepts you’dd develop in the program.

Digital Marketing Certificate: Digital Marketing Trends – Coursera

Web Development Certificate: Intro to Front-End Development – Great Learning

Need Help?

We know applying can feel overwhelming. If you get stuck, join the WhatApp group where you can engage with other applications and ask your questions. Also keep scrolling for a recap with all the links you need.

What Happens After You Apply?

After both parts are complete, we’ll shortlist candidates for a week-long Bootcamp. It’s tough, fast-paced, and full of surprises—but it’s also where we see the magic happen. From there, the top-performing applicants are offered a spot in the iHub Class of 2026. Basically, wait to hear from us.

  • Where is the whole process housed? Google Classroom. Here you can find all the instructions and links you need. CLICK HERE TO JOIN.
  • How many steps are there? FOUR. All the links can be found in Google Classroom. But incase you can’t navigate the platfom here’s the links to everything you need to do.
  • How can I see how much progress I’ve made? CLICK HERE TO VIEW STATUS. Find your name and see what still needs to be done for your application to be complete. This is updated daily so give it at least 24 hours to see updates.
